Key Accountabilities:
• Yearly spend € 110 million – 60/70 Kt material – Most important Commodity of the plastics division
• Define and develop sourcing strategies, negotiate and roll-out global agreements
• Directly worldwide sourcing and dealing with Spot market opportunities through traders and direct imports
• Devise & implement the procurement polymer strategy for each region aligned with division expectations, sales forecasts
• Develop business integration and interaction in each region and department (Finance, Sales & Marketing, R&D, Operations
• Leading a team of local buyers
• Provide market insight (up and downstream) attending IH S Markit, EPCA
• Set up annual budgets and monthly budget reviews
• Preparation regional / global contract negotiation + participation
• Integration in all local claims
• Collaboration with Local procurement
• Market analysis of Region/Word wide
• Searching for potential suppliers
• Supplier evaluation (region)
• Creation of transparency in demand for both _____-demand and sub-supplier demand
• Purchasing Controlling (region)
• Development and realization of RATIO-measurements
• Regional supplier-lead / supplier Strategy
• Functional Lead of local procurement
• Close collaboration with local procurement
• Support to local procurement for all location issues
• Avoid cost increases
• Support the development/sales team for the new project to receive new orders
• Support the production to integrate recycling/regrinf/regranulate material, find alternative materials

Osobnostné predpoklady a zručnosti
• Extensive experience in the Polymer Market for 10 years.
• Technical knowledge in polymers (polyethylene, polypropylene, pvc…) and its worldwide players as well as up- and downstream integrated players and markets.
• languages: Fluent in English, other language/s is/are advantageous
• Excellent negotiation skills and ability to balance short term and long-term interest.
• Knowledge/experience of a wide range of industries, conversion methods and familiarity of end-use applications/specifications.
• Variety of culture and having international skills.
• Self-organization and motivation.
• Team player with strong communication skills
